In short you reach Piazza del Duomo, the religious center of the city, where there are the Cathedral with the Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Baptistery of San Giovanni with the Paradise Gate.
We continue visiting the medieval districts where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice lived. A little further on we find the Palazzo del Bargello.
A short distance away, Piazza della Signoria, a splendid “outdoor sculpture museum”, overlooks the famous and majestic Palazzo Vecchio, next to which is the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museums in the world.
Then we await the picturesque Mercato della Paglia, with the famous Fontana del Porcellino, along the road that leads to the Ponte Vecchio, the “jewelers’ bridge”. Crossing the bridge you finally reach the beautiful square dominated by the majestic bulk of Palazzo Pitti. End of the tour.
