During the visit you will discover the Castello Sforzesco, an imposing medieval fortress, once the residence of the noble family that governed Milan and is now home to a museum and an art collection, the splendid Duomo, one of the largest and most impressive Gothic cathedrals in the world, with 135 spiers and 3,200 statues that dot its roof and façade.

The fascinating Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, with its nineteenth-century crystal vaults, acts as a backdrop for trendy shops and cafés; it is called the living room of Milan, for its importance as a meeting point for Milanese people of all ages. You will also visit the Teatro alla Scala, home to the Milan Opera House from 1778 and still in full swing. Here the most famous musicians and singers of the world have performed, and Verdi’s most famous operas, such as Falstaff, have been performed for the first time in this theater. The entrance ticket will give you access to both the theater and the Scala museum, and is valid all day, in case you want to return for a more detailed visit.

The tour ends with a visit to the Last Supper, Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, is housed in the refectory of the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Given the nature of the wall painting and to ensure its conservation, access is limited to small groups that may remain in the special room where the work is located for only 15 minutes.
