Four Puccini titles will be staged from 14 July to 26 August for 14 magical opera evenings in the unique setting of the Giacomo Puccini open-air Grand Theater.

The open-air Grand Theater with the suggestive background of Lake Massaciuccoli in its natural capacity of 3,400 seats will also be the natural setting for the installations of Puccini’s operas in 2023, a few steps from the Villa Mausoleo, where the master Giacomo Puccini lived and composed the his immortal works. The Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago is one of the most anticipated events in the rich cultural life of Tuscany, the most important opera festival in Italy and the only one in the world dedicated to the composer Giacomo Puccini which takes place every summer, in the months of July and August, precisely in the places that inspired Maestro Puccini for his immortal melodies. Born in 1930 over the years it has become a prestigious event capable of attracting thousands of spectators from all over the world who at the Puccini Festival can listen to the greatest stars of opera, under the direction of important conductors, and admire extraordinary staging curated by the most famous directors of Puccini’s masterpieces from Madama Butterfly, Turandot, La Bohème, Tosca to Manon Lescaut. The Puccini Festival of Torre del Lago is thus confirmed also in 2023 one of the most anticipated events of the cultural offer of Tuscany and among the most recognized internationally, the only Festival in the world dedicated to the composer Giacomo Puccini which annually attracts thousands of spectators in the places that inspired the master Puccini his immortal melodies. RULES OF CONDUCT INSIDE THE THEATER There is no cloakroom service. Spectators are invited to come in appropriate clothing for the occasion. Access to the hall is not allowed after the show has begun. Spectators will have to wait to be seated during the breaks. For any need or problem, the public is asked to contact the room staff. For lost items, please contact the Festival Direction, via delle Torbiere, Torre del Lago Puccini. Spectators can purchase drinks and snacks before the show and during breaks, which they must consume in the bar area. Spectators will not be able to enter the theater with bottles and glass objects and any other blunt object that could cause harm to themselves or others. For security reasons, the hall staff are authorized to requisition any type of object that is not allowed. It is forbidden to take photographs in the theater and any type of video and / or audio recording. Cameras, video cameras or any other type of recording equipment, as well as laser emitters cannot be brought inside or used in the theater. These items will be confiscated if found and held for the duration of the performance. Mobile phones must be deactivated before the start of the show. Pets are not allowed inside the theater. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the theater. PUCCINI LINE SHUTTLE WE TAKE YOU TO THE OPERA! We inform our kind public that on show evenings a PUCCINI LINE Shuttle Service is available departing from Forte dei Marmi that runs along the Versilia seafront with stops in Marina di Pietrasanta, Lido di Camaiore and Viareggio, and arrives at the Grand Teatro Giacomo Puccini and return after the show.
