Place: Dandolo Palace (Hotel Monaco & Gran Canal)
Since two Centuries a Gala Dinner and Ball in the halls of the Ridotto, the heart of the XVIII Century magnificent Carnival of Venice. A welcome cocktail with international artists show and luxurious dinner, turned into a spectacular banquet by our artists in the unique costumes of the Atelier Tiepolo. Historical group dances and waltzes directed by a Dance Master accompanied by the Chamber Venice Orchestra.

At 9h00 p.m. - The Servant Landlady by Pergolesi
Place: Ca' Zanardi
Official opening Ball of the Carnival 2007, located in authentic Venice, is in the 16th century Palazzo Zanardi. This stunning palazzo with its unique setting was the first abode of Agnello Partecipazio Doge. Throughout the Ball, Palazzo Zanardi will be entirely candlelit to create a memorable atmosphere. TWO BANDS, Classical & Modern will be entertaining the guests. After dinner an orchestra will perform the Operetta "The Servant Landlady" of Pergolesi, comical amusement regarding the relationship between servants and landlords... The Ball starts at 9 pm with an elegant welcome cocktail & goes on with a Renaissance Quartet. Seated Gala dinner. After the show live music until dawn.
The palace is accessible by its water door on the canal Santa Catherina.
